Postdoctoral Scholars

For inquiries regarding current availability of postdoctoral positions in the Lillehoj Lab, please send an email to Prof. Lillehoj and include a detailed CV, brief biography, and 2-3 potential research projects. Those with a background in BioMEMS, microfluidics, and biosensors are encouraged to apply.

Rice University offers a highly competitive, two-year postdoctoral fellowship (Rice University Academy of Fellows), which is open to exceptional scholars who have recently earned the doctoral degree in any area and who want to pursue research with faculty at Rice University. Applications are typically due at the beginning of January every year.

Graduate Research Assistants

For inquiries regarding current availability of graduate research assistantships in the Lillehoj Lab, please send an email to Prof. Lillehoj and include a detailed CV, brief biography, and previous research experience. Those with a background in experimental mechanics, physics, and bioengineering are highly encouraged to apply. Due to the large number of inquiries received from outside the United States, only those that show a strong overlap of research interests will be considered.

Undergraduate Research Assistants

There are a limited number of openings for undergraduate students who would like to gain hands-on research experience in a multidisciplinary lab setting. Interested students should send an email to Prof. Lillehoj and include a brief personal statement (academic major, standing, etc.) and resume/CV. Students are expected to work a minimum of 10 hr/week.
